he story revolves around the adventures of English widow Anna Leonowens who arrives in Bangkok with his young son to tutor King Mongkut of Siam’s wives and children.
It was adapted from the novel Anna and the King of Siam by Margaret Landon
The initially testy relationship with the King soon turns to one of admiration as Anna wins the hearts of the royal household family and the respect of the king. Playing the roles of Anna and King Mongkut are Briana Borger and Paul Nakauchi respectively.
